Took her for a ride yesterday

Well I went to the dealer yesterday to sign the adoption papers for my F3s and to ride her around the block. She looked great and I must say the black and chrome is the way to go. Initially I wanted the white but I just couldn't get past the orangish red frame and the only option without it was the black and chrome.

imdo have a battery tender question.. The dealer proudly opened the front compartment to show me that they installed a tender pigtail. Unfortunately there was an inch of water in the compartment from where they washed the bike because they had the pigtail routed from behind the compartment and laying over the lip of it. This keeps the seal from sealing.... Where should it be routed?

Unfortunatly I could not ride her home as I have a broken foot and they are an hour a twenty away.. They are adding the bumpstop for me and delivering newt Saturday

My dealer routed it coming out from behind the right tire under the body.

Same here, comes out by rt. tire and I zip tied it to the bar for easy access.

where is the battery

Maybe a silly question but remember we haven't got the F3 yet here ... where is the battery located on the F3? in the frunk like ST or somewhere else ? I vaguely recall it may be under the pillion seat ?? Thanks all.

I just drilled a hole at the top of the frunk liner, pulled it through, poke it back when I don't need it.

Hi Lois.....The battery on an F3 is behind the frunk container. You remove four fixings and lift out the frunk and the battery is right there.
If you look at my thread on the 'birth' of my F3-S there's a picture there (I think). HTH
