• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not much info but this is what I got back after asking the investigator. Here is hoping for the best

I know what the fix is but cannot reveal it until BRP officially does so. All I can say is that it is comprehensive and effective. And, given that, producing remedy kits is taking a reasonable period of time.

Thanks for the update from Mr. Young.
Here's to hoping that his assessment of the fix, is accurate!

using comprehensive and effective lets me think that you think it will work. being you can't say anything do you feel the fix is expensive

Slow....

But still on it. Do hope they get on with it. Those affected have been waiting a long time...:banghead:

Expense? Who cares I ain't paying for it. Just hope it works is all I care about. That said I am sure it will be more than tinfoil and vaporware. This is killing me because this week it starts the 85+ degree parking lot syndrome here in Myrtle Beach which pretty makes the interim letter a stop ride letter.:yikes: Plus I got lots of farkles waiting in the garage I will not put on until I am sure it works :ohyea:

Let's hope this does take care of the problem. It has been a very long time for those who have :spyder2:'s with the malady.

the only reason i asked that question, was for me to get a idea of just how much work was expected to do. example new panels or moving the radiator etc.

How will it effect those of us that have installed the y pipe? Glad I kept he cat.
I cannot imagine that it would matter one way or the other. I kept mine too, but there is absolutely NO WAY I am putting that thing back on, after riding without it.
