• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another X-Creen Sport Install

Huge difference! Makes the bike a lot more comfortable at speed. Amazing difference! Instructions were a bit vague, but I am a mechanical moron. Reminds me to be thankful that I live within an hour of Spyderpops Harvey. I also could ridden over to Cruzr Joes. He's pretty handy and is always ready to help fellow Spyder Ryder's. The x-Creen is really worth doing. If you have the Blue Ridge, besure to order the sport model explain everything else is too wide for the Blue Ridge

Do you have the clamp on as well? Just came back from a ryde on the freeway. Too much wind noise/buffeting from the BR windshield. I think I'll get the X-creen myself. Thanks for the info!

Clamp on

Clamp on. Works great! $114..it solved immediate problem. I still may go with madstad, but could be months till they are ready. Good luck

Clamp-on. My skills do not include drilling through a perfectly good Blue Ridge windshield. The Sport model is about 114.00 before taxes and shipping. I got mine in about 4 days. I will probably replace this set-up with the Madstad unit that will be made for the F3. Good luck in deciding.

A patch for sure...

For many it is a temporary fix then for others it is the best of both worlds. I have had my set up for years and love it. But then I love fighting the wind out there on the back roads and winding hill country. Then I do like a smoother ryde on long freeway at high speeds...

Couldn't take the horrible buffeting on my helmet any more. I'm 5' 8" and maybe that's the "sweet spot" (sarcastic) for the buffeting to hit me square in the face/helmet. Just ordered the X-Creen Sport. Can't wait to see how it improves the ryde.

Can't get over how much I LOVE this bike!

Finally put the X-Creen together and clamp mounted it on my BR windshield. Went out today for about 80 miles up and down the freeway testing it out. Up to 50-55 mph it is a 100% improvement. Over 50+ mph it is a 70% improvement. I had it set up fairly well one time but messed with it and now can't find that "just right" position. I wish the "sport" model was wider, especially downward, as it would be much easier to direct the wind. How is everyone else positioning theirs? High and up close to the windshield or low(er) and farther away? How much tilting?

Definitely and improvement in buffeting but may look for other options/windshields as they become available.
