• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Checked out the F3 today and wow does it fit me! I'm new to the Spyder World and looking for a used RS, but the F3 fits and intrigues me!!! I shouldn't put that much into my first Spyder...should I? :dontknow:

Good luck . . . .

. . . . with that 'urge' thing.

A bunch of us here didn't have much luck doing that. If you can be patient, some good deals will probably turn up during the Summer, and Fall for sure.

+1 on fighting that urge. I'm on my second Spyder because I couldn't. I can resist anything but temptation!!

If you can afford it, BUY IT!! You only live once, and tomorrow's not promised. First time I saw a Spyder (commercial on tv) I just had to have one. Two months of research, and BAM!! Had the RT. Then they come out with the F3............ I wanted to wait, but hey, like I said, tomorrow ain't promised, and that's just more time for me to enjoy the ride.

Man the urge....But

actually got a deal working on a RS-S SM5 about 1.5 hr away. Going to meet a fellow forum member hopefully this weekend.

first ride

I never road a motorcycle before. my first bike was a kz900. my frend road it home from the dealer because I didn't know how to ride it. that took about a week. I would get the best equipment I could afford. the rest will come. :trike: deer seer

You're right miltonb. The guy plans to spend time going over the Spyder with me. He's already given me advice over the phone! His knowledge, experience and willingness to help me with my first Spyder is PRICELESS!!!!!

Why..!!

if it's in the cards play them. There is no minimum to owning one of these machines. Understandably you have to dealwith your budget. If you liked the F3 that much and have tried the others as well then sacrifice a bit and get the best...although I love my RS better...

Go For It

Go ahead, I demoed one six days ago and I'm hooked. Just got to get another warm dry day to ride over to my dealer and make it happen.

You would love it.

Hah!! Best of luck with that fight! :banghead:
I had a perfectly serviceable RS-S which ran great and had all the goodies that I wanted.....so I sold it to get an F3-S which I have never seen in the flesh, and thus never even sat on....Can't wait!!

I'd agree with that, but I would define the ability to afford something as the ability to pay cash for it without it having a significant impact on your financial health.

Then again, I'm fairly conservative and cautious with my funds. That's just my opinion.

life is short.

First time F3S

Bought one in January, love it, but hate BRP for accessories, been waiting since January on bags and backrest. Never really got a straight answer as to why.
