I have seen many posts on Spyder riders going long distances. I know each of us are different but typically how long do most riders ride during a day, either in distance and or time. Any tips for endurance?
ALL rides are different.....
if i'm going X-country, 500 miles and 10 hrs is typical if i'm focused on 'getting someplace'...
if i'm going X-country, and i'm not particularly going any one place special, it's anywhere from 50 miles/1 hr. to 500 miles/10 hrs...
if i'm on a day ride, and i have a particular destination, it's a 'one shot' ride, with gas/pee stops if necessary...
if i'm on a day ride, and i have NO particular destination, it's go where the road takes me, and it usually runs from 100 - 250 miles, and from 4 - 10 hrs...
so the answers are variable... and the more people you ask, the more the differences you will get...
whatever your choices are, ride safely and enjoy the scenery....

I guess the question of the op assumes that you will be riding for a few days or to some great length. For me? I'm with Jack above. I try to stay within a 300 mile range so that I too can "smell the roses". Often times this is difficult when you are riding with others. Consequently, I've found myself riding alone. I do it this way because I don't want to "hold up" the others. Imagine riding with a group of others who want to put 400 to 600 miles per day behind them only to have one in the group who wants to stop and take a picture of a sign that says "Jesus Saves" or an old abadoned barn this is about to fall down.
With all that said, have I gone more than 300 miles? You betcha, but it certainly isn't my preference nor my wife's.

I happen to like taking pictures of old abandoned barns!I guess the question of the op assumes that you will be riding for a few days or to some great length. For me? I'm with Jack above.
