+1:yikes:$1100 for 2 floorboards and a brake peddle extension! That's beyond ridiculous and I suspect they will not be in the Spyder accessory business long with that kind of pricing. The absolute most I would expect to pay would be about $350 and even that's borderline.

Another alternative that can be ordered now.

The set includes driver and passenger (can't split them) and with brake extension and heel-toe shifter is $850.00
Just another (pricing) data point even though they are both floorboards there is a degree of apples and oranges. Some like and will pay for apples, some the same for oranges, and others hate grapefruit. :dontknow:

I have been waiting and hoping these accessories would be reasonably priced. Now the waiting is over and the hope is gone.
Looks like I will go back to fabricating my own.:gaah:
No way two lil pieces of metal show be 1100 insurance or not......think of it this way i rather sell 100 @ 500 than 25 @ 1000+. No way you can tell me they are that much I scene custom lath work cheaper on HD and Victory bikes.
Considering none of us knows the actual costs they have into these - who knows how many hundred they will have to sell just to get their R&D money back.
It's also unfair to compare products for HD or Victory. There are only 12,000 or so Spyders in the world - much smaller market - thus why Spyder accessories are going to be more expensive.
You get what you pay for - I'm sure there will be some cheap Chinese knock-offs sometime. :barf:
