• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stock tires will not track straight

I can't say I have noticed the Spyder pulling in one direction over the other.

What I do notice is, after a long-ish ride, while the tires are still warm, I park it in my garage and both fronts develop flat spots.

The flat spots seem to subside after ~30 mins into the next ride, but I find it odd that they do that in the first place.

The initial wallop and shimmy is annoying.

I have the exact same problem. The tires will develop a flat spot and when I take off the whole front end and windsheld will shimmy for about 15 minutes and then settle out. I thought the first time it happened that my windsheld was going to fly off.

Had the same thing. Dealer put on new tires at 400 miles under warranty. Old tires had an unbelievable amount of weights. One side had 15 and the other side had 8.

If the alignment checks out and the tires are good, and the bike is still pulling to one side, check the front brakes. Jack up both sides and verify that both wheels spin freely with out brake rubbing on a warped rotor.

We had one particularly difficult alignment and no matter what I tried it was still pulling. In the end it was a warped rotor. A slightly warped rotor will usually not cause a pull to one side in a car (unless really bad) but the spyder is a much smaller object to change direction.
