• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Could it be that when the "Me too" was changed to "Dislike this post" it converted them..?? I have never given a dislike or recieved one yet it shows I did and me too's are gone...seems unfair makes me feel like a heel..:roflblack::roflblack:

Me too

Happened to me too. Worse yet, it was on Lamont's video. I did not click on dislike on Lamont's video. He's my hero.

The buttons are designed to only show your true feelings. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

(You know what happened when Cuznjohn pushed the wrong button)

Have you ever seen those classified ads that people run for legal purposes "I am not responsible for my debts as of 00/00/00"? You could put this in your signature "I am not responsible for any Dislikes prior to 00/00/00 they were intended to be Me Toos" :roflblack:

I'm sure the actual data item in the database is like a checkbox with either a 0 or 1 in it. The 'Me Too' and 'Dislike this post' labels are tacked on by the template that displays the data and messages in the database. As such whenever you clicked on that label in the past you changed the value in the data field. The vBulletin forum s/w was probably updated and the default template has 'Dislike this post' as the label for that field. Lamont just needs to go into the template and edit it to show 'Me Too' as the label. If he was really ornery he could go into the template and change the label to 'I Like the current White House Occupant'. I can't help but laugh about what the reaction would be then! :roflblack::roflblack: All those 'Me Too' selections from the past now reading 'I Like the current White House Occupant'.

So don't get uptight about the current label. We all know what was meant. Just be careful about clicking on the 'Dislike' icon now. When Lamont gets it changed back your 'Dislikes' will suddenly all be 'Me Too'.

It looks like we are back to "normal." :roflblack:

Me Too is back and your previous me too's that were changed to dislikes, and now back to being me too's.

Now, if you dislike something...:roflblack::roflblack:

Isn't IT stuff fun? :yes::yes:
