• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lifting '14 RT-LTD

Earlier this fall I managed to use my Pitbull motorcycle lift to put the Ltd on some dollies I had for easy farkling and cleaning over the winter. I ended using a piece of 3/8" x 4" poplar I had on hand on the lift where it contacts the frame due to the frame being somewhat recessed by the plastic belly pan plus there is a "thingy with wires" that hangs down on gas fill side that I had to be careful of not hitting with the lift. It seemed a little unstable when lifted but I didn't take to the top (24" I think), only high enough to get the dollies under the tires. It was easier and more stable on my '10 RT and not as worrisome. Does anyone have any tips for when I reverse the process in the spring?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1422393398.189379.jpg

I drove the front of mine up on a set of 10" car ramps, then put a trolley jack (topped with short 2x4 to even the load) on the rear shock.

PITBULL LIFT

.....Not knowing what your lift looks like makes this difficult to answer.............I have a Sears ATV type , and it has a strap that can go over the seat to secure Spyder to JACK.....Mike

dollies

Nice looking Spyder!
For myself, I would not store my Spyder on dollies that did not support the entire bottom of the tire.
Just my thoughts

Depends..!

20150126_113540.jpg tools of the trade. The yellow atv/motorcycle lift will put all wheels in the air. Sears craftman and fits fine. The blue one for the spot lift and jack stands for stabilizing your roadster if going under...

LOOKS THE SAME AS SEARS ATV

...........Didn't it come with straps to put over the seat to secure it to the jack platform...........of course you have to start with it balanced on the platform ....if not the straps won't help....................just sayin...........Mike

It didn't come with straps but I have some that I've used on my previous Gold Wing when actually working it on while on the lift. They hooked onto the base not the platform. You jack it up to working height, engage the safety bars then connect and tighten the straps to the loops on the base.
My concern is the frame is recessed above the plastic belly pan and having to use the 4" wide piece of wood across the jack rails so the rails don't hit on the plastic. If I remember right my '10 RT was not like that and the jack rails hit the frame without contacting the the belly pan plastic. I hope that is clear without a photo. Might be able to get one later.
