Bristol Spring Race

We'll be at Bristol for the spring race and looking forward to warmer weather now that it's been moved to mid April. After that, it's south to Key West.

The night race at Bristol is on my NASCAR bucket list. On a mostly unrelated note, our SRA chapter will be doing laps at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this Sunday evening. No day laps for us we are going all out for laps under the lights. $40 buys you 4 laps and it is all for charity.

She's been quite the disappointment. I can't remember the last race she finished where she wasn't at least a few laps down at the end. She's still on Tony Stewart's racing team right? If she doesn't turn it around and have an absolutely awesome season I wouldn't be surprised to see her looking for a new team. Or back in the Indy cars.

She may not win races, but Danica is a marketing and "marketers" dream. She is personable, good looking and draws fans in. She will still be in racing (NASCAR or Indy) for as long as she wants.

Also agree that the "moron" drivers that got too much, too soon are ruining the sport. Sadly, that's most of them at this point. I think I'm showing my age here.....:roflblack:

I like Gordon. Hope he makes his last yr a good one. But like many other drivers, he may have several retirements.

Well not exactly: "I thought long and hard about my future this past year and during the offseason, and I've decided 2015 will be the last time I compete for a championship. I won't use the 'R-word' because I plan to stay extremely busy in the years ahead, and there's always the possibility I'll compete in selected events, although I currently have no plans to do that."

IMO, I see him picking and choosing what races he likes and wants to run.
