There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Boots...Need New Boots

Can Am Spyder RT Boots

Hello,
I'm trying to find more info on these boots. Can you help please?

Well

Try them on at a dealer so you know the right size (they are pretty true to size) then search eBay to get a better price. There are currently 26 listings from $69.00.:yes::yes:

I wrecked my boots. Thankfully I was not in them at the time. I was cooking up a batch of champagne chicken salad for 60 people and I spilled a GALLON of mayonnaise based sauce into my boots...it was a mess and the boots are ruined.

So I need new boots. I am looking for recommendations. Harness or engineer, work boots or motorcycle. I like boots that have at least an8" top. It insulates my right foot and ankle from the BRP hot foot.

What are your recommendations and why?

I recommend that you not serve the Mayonnaise based sauce that fell into the boots to any of your guests. :lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie:

I have had mine [Cruiserworks] about 12 years or so and resoled once. Completely waterproof (have worn in four hour rains) comfortable to walk around in and don't look dorky. If I ruined them, would buy another pair in a heartbeat .
While dorkiness, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder, I have to agree that the Cruiserworks Tours look nice. Reminds me of the Corbin boots I had years ago. But those Corbin boots never seemed to break in comfortably (which is what some folks say about their seats). :sour:

you are the only one that noticed the sauce went into the boots not onto the boots!

I served it anyway. Hey what's a little toe jam among friends? (LOL)

Question about Can Am Spyder RT boots (Page 24-25 of 2015 Spyder Accessories catalog)

I'm trying to find more info on these boots. Can you help please?

Take a peek in the Spyder Accessories Catalog...

Thank you Bob.
These look very similar to my BMW riding boots.

Does anyone know if the Can Am Spyder RT boots are hot to wear in summer. In Australia where I come from our winters are not too cold but our summers can get very warm to outright hot.

Since you started this thread last March, which boots did you end up getting to replace the "saucy" boots?
I got a pair of harness boots. Black. I know they are unimiginative, but the height eliminates the rtght hot foot. I got the armored Harlry version. Kinda expensive, but I read someplace that 39% of all motorcycle injuries are to feet, toes, and ankles--but boots prevent 93% of those injuries--armoured boots that is. Non-armoured boots prevent something like 79%. NOT steel toed boots--the steel toed boots can cause toes to be cut off in a wreck.
