Copperman - Did the dog eat your homework ?I do! Although, I've forgotten the numbers. I didn't think I was going to be tested.
Thanx akspyderman for your guesstimation .The number came up in a NHSTA thread. They said 52,000 through 2013. The number never was disclosed publicly by BRP.
Doing a little math, thats 8666 per year for the first five years. Adjusting the numbers, I would say lower in the first year and then growing a bit as each year progressed.
Based on what we have also read, I believe that 2014 was probably a boom year--maybe 10,000 or so.
Total: That is 62,000 or so.
Its all speculation, but that would be my conservative guess.

Hi akspyderman,
Re: They said 52,000 through 2013 . . . thats 8666 per year . . . maybe 10,000 or so
8,666/yr to 10k/yr is a 15% increase in production/sales. I would doubt those numbers; but that is just me.
I would expect maybe a 5% increase at the most.
We all like our Spyders but we do need to be realistic.
Anyone else??????
YMMV,

I'm at a loss as to why this info is needed. I just ride mine because I enjoy it. Not because there was X of them sold.
