Any progress to report regarding your burnt Spyder? Haven't heard from you in a while about this.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hmm, I'd missed that post before. Dat Guy posted his closing remarks exactly three months ago today, and hasn't posted anything since. Glad to read that BRP gave him the personal attention that he deserved.
It was an interesting post , but what he didn't say, or more likely couldn't say, was just as interesting as what was said. I guess BRP did not replace his Spyder , but then again that may have been his choice. I honestly don't know if I'd be riding a Spyder today if that had happened to me. From the tone of his message, I'm guessing he got a decent settlement that came with a gag agreement. At least I hope he did.

I missed his reply also, I was travelling a bunch at that time so I'm not surprised. I spoke with him prior to that post and he did say that his wife was totally freaked out and that it would be hard to convince her to get on a Spyder again.
