I see nothing wrong with it. If the parents have money and want to send them here to school and give them money for expensive things, good for the kids.

I have found that to be very true. I used to work with a guy at an engineering firm that had a degree in architecture, and engineering. He had an identical twin who was the head doctor at a hospital in a pretty large city. Both were very humble people, and you would not have known how much their parents were worth. There dad thought they were both wasting their lives and working for pocket change. They had a younger brother who stayed in china and helped his dad run one of his companies (he mostly played video games). The dad owns multi million dollar homes in a couple of US cities (one on the big island of Hawaii).
