• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nice day today in the northeast. Rode down to Colledgeville Pa to Phamous Phils BBQ and back home just 85 miles round trip but it was a great day to ride.

RIDE

The temp got up to around 60F here In the Buckeye state today, so I just had to get the:f_spider: out of hibernation, I only rode for about 40 mi. but It was great. I beat the rain back to the house:yes::yes::thumbup:..

Got my wife on the Fat White Chick for the first time. She has never been on a motorcycle before. Very windy and humid here in SW Floriduh today, but she and the Chick did very well. She said she enjoyed the ride a lot.:yes::yes::yes:

Went to Venice inlet to watch the surf for a few minutes. We had people asking questions about the Spyder in the short time we were there. Then back home and put her away.

So since she liked the rYde, she has dropped the Fat White and just calling her Chick?

My daughter who lives in England and has been visiting for a few days, a spyder ride. So, I had to remove the rear seat cowl that I had just put on a day or two ago. Whilst putting it back on, the beady end of onre of the fastening straps broke off. Only the 2nd time I put the thing on the roadster. What a cheesy way to fasten something, ffs. Now I need to order a set of new rubber straps.

took the bike down to the frame.. just have to remove fenders... time for paint, pinstriping graphics, chrome, and led's and neon. after about a mile of wires should be all done.... :) I always say will just leave it alone and not do all this.. its a sickness :)

Mine was dropped off at the house by the dealer. It was 50 and pouring rain, so I had them bring it to me for $51.00 after being in for ECM upgrade, belt tension check and a fuse panel water leak check. All under warranty or recall notices. While it was there I asked for them to look at the turn signal switch. It sticks when switched to the right. So it has to be manually turned off which normally turns on the left signal.
So when he pulled up in the garage I checked to see if the turn signal switch was fixed. Of course it wasn't so they loaded it back in the trailer and they are "going to fix it" this time. Hopefully they won't have it for another 12 days to do the 1.6 hours of labor they warranty work they had to do and fixing the turn signal switch.
Not real impressed right now.
They also still don't know anything about a heating issue on the right side footwell.

Installed battery Tender hookup

Today made a cable to connect the battery tender into the power plug in the rear. Moved fuse to the hot side of the fuse block. Works clean and easy:bowdown:
