• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SPYDER TV.....SPYDER ODYSSEY IS BORN

Great news..!

congrats..!! :2thumbs: your off to a great start. Wish you and your team all the best and hope you have an awesome event...:clap:

This is a great idea. The area is beautiful. The only thing I can see to mess things up is that it is so close to SpyderQuest, time wise. For Deb and I, we already booked the time off for SpyderQuest but I doubt she could get the Thrsday and Friday off in August as well for this one. Plus, the cost of two events so close to one another is prohibative to us as well. :(

For those that can go, have a great time.

Is this a french speaking event ?????

I see the logo is in French............ The only French I speak is, French Fries and French Toast........

I'll be there, we met at SpyderQuest! There will be a a lot of English speaking, but you will get the benefit of the French culture as well!;)

My reservations have been made at the host hotel. Had to tell the nice lady sprekenzie der English before I could get anywhere with her. :)

Thanks for your comments, multiple factors are taken into consideration when planning an event such as Spyder Odyssey. The timing with other events will always be an issue, trying to find a fit is challenging. You don't want to be in conflict and share the same dates, plus you have to work with host hotel dates and see where are they already booked, pricing of rooms depending on time of the year. Spyderquest and Spyder Odyssey are great friends and will be helping each other out, i know that Odyssey will encourage riders to attend Quest, we plan on promoting it at our event too.
Then I guess I must come, Ron

Pierre: Good luck with Spyder Odyssey. Sent PM Deanna

Good luck, sounds like fun. Too far for us in the other CA but wish you the best of luck.
And i have found in Quebec they are going to speak French unless you insist they speak english in which case they will but be irritated about it :)

I work in Quebec everyday (Gatineau) and we have travelled all through the province and we rarely have have a problem. There are some who are butt-heads but they are few and far between and usually from east Montreal. :shemademe_smilie: We don't speak French and when the people see that you cannot speak the language they are always welcoming and try to speak English. Like Pierre said, some towns are pure French but we were always able to get our message across. Don't miss out because you are afraid of the language barrier because there really isn't one.

We are thinking of heading up on the Friday afternoon and getting there in the evening. We would love to see what's going on. Just wanted to know before we registered.

Pierre,

I forgot to ask. Are non Spyder riders welcome? I ride a Valkyrie and my wife has her Spyder.

Thanks for your PM Pierre.

We booked the hotel last night and sent you the registration this morning.
