Gas Mileage Yipee

Traded for a 2014 RT SM6 yesterday. First fill up today yielded 34.5. Love the torque and the mileage increase over my 2012 RT-S SE5.

Today was the paymasters' (wife) longest day ever on a bike at 315 miles. Her hinny is dragging but her face is smiling.

Life is good here.

I upgraded to a '14 RT L SE6, I filled up today after mostly in & out of Montana riding, 38.1. I avg. 40, but get 43 numerous times.

Seeing as we stop every 100/150 miles anyway, I never had a mileage problem. But it is good that you are all getting so much more out of the new engine. So do you all now ryde over 200 miles with out stopping...:roflblack::roflblack: just asking..!! Reap the advantage...:thumbup:

Actually, I do occasionally. Just a bad habit I developed. I keep saying I will not ride so far daily, then the evil long distance personality always seems to take over :banghead:

I think you will find the mileage to get better as you put a few more miles on the engine and develop your riding style. Most are finding average 40-41 mpg.
