There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Added my RideON Friday

I added my RideOn to all my new tires Friday. It was a bit rough at first but smoothed out in a relatively short time. Reading the amounts on the bottle while putting them in is kind of hard and my two front tires are slightly different by about an ounce and a half. My ride does not seem to be affected though. I rode a bit before work and then quite a bit yesterday as well. These tires feel good. I really like my new rear tire as well. I am just itching to ride all the time lately. I am having so much fun, I love my spyder and all the neat things we are doing to it and with it.

I don't know if you saw my ride report in the rain but that rear is doing great for me. Much better than stock so far, I just need to ride in some heavy rain to give a full report. :doorag:

By the way I have zero weights on my rims now and the Ride-On is working great all the way to 100+. My Spyder has never been smoother.

What type of forumation is everyone using on their Spider?

The distributor in San Diego put the automotive formula because of the tires. He said either would work, but the automotive was his recommendation. Same cost. And I asked he put the severe amount...13 oz in front, 17 oz in rear. Living in the desert, I just figured it would not hurt.

According to Alex at ride-on, 9 oz. in each front and 13 oz. in rear for 'normal' driving (whatever that means). I haven't put mine in yet. So, I'm wondering if 9 oz. and 13 oz. is too little.

9 and 13 is the normal amount. 13 and 17 is the severe amount. I chose the 13/17 because of the desert conditions...just my decision, probably not necessary, but just took the overkill to make me feel better.

I bought 2 bottles, which gives me an oz. to spare. I probably should have bought 3; but, then that would have been an over kill.

It's kind of cold today. Does ride-on flow out of the bottle better when it's warmer? If it does, I might as well wait a few days. It's supposed to be warmer next week.

I don't know about the flow/temperature. But I would wait until it's warmer just because I hate cold. The normal oz/wheel should be fine. I also noticed that in 2 months after installation my tires had not lost any air. Don't know if that will work for everyone, but was nice for me. And as far as the weights on the rims, I left them there.

Well I got my RideON some time ago but have not yet added it to the Spyder tires. I plan on changing my rear tire before we leave on our long trip in September, but not the fronts -- not until we get back. Would it hurt to just add it to the front tires and not the rear??? I'd hate to add it to the rear and in about 4 months have to do it again for the rear. What do you all think? We have about 12,500 miles on the Spyder and the tires still look pratically brand new. I am certain we will be at least another 3k - 4k on the ODO before we leave in September.

I am still wondering if this stuff solidifies on the inner surfaces of the tire while riding and so you must ride for an extended time so it dries evenly or if it remains in liquid form and splays out centrifugally every time you start rolling.

From Lamont's experience....No. The distributor also said that it will stay a liquid. Lamont has a picture of what his looked like when he removed the old tire.

Yuck...who vomited in your tire? What a cruel joke that is! Actually, I think all you guys are paying for pancake batter!
:ohyea:
Lamonster is secretly smuggling raccoons across state lines...those not up to the task of sprinting for 2~3 hours usually hurl.

Just checked out Dynabeads. Its does not seal but it is also not green gunk in my tire. I know you all use Ride On but this is just a dynamic balance product of tiny ceramic beads. Apparently its reusable when you change tires.

I just can't get over having a messy liquid in my tire.
