• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RARE BREEDS

We truly are some rara advises. Just rode up to the People's Republic Of NY. 1485 mi. Saw TWO Spyders total. Did not see one until 536 mi on rt 441 in Ga.
So I really get a laugh when someone says "I see them all over". Yeah, right.

It depends on where you are. I virtually never leave home without seeing a spyder - and usually one that is not one of the 337 members of our local ryding club.

I've got the only one!!

I have not seen a single Spyder in the town I live in, except MINE!!

Of course I live in a small town in the mountains of Wyoming. Only 12,000 total population. (Love it)

Our whole county only has about 20,000.

you near lander at all?:dontknow:

On a ride with the Maryland Spyder Web, I was third in a line of twelve Spyders. At one point, I realized that there were three Spyders ahead of me, not two. We turned into the next gas station and met the couple riding on the strange Spyder. They'd had one for a couple years, and had never seen one on the road, before . . . until they saw twelve in their rear view mirror!

Wait until the 2nd Annual Hill Country Spyder Ride. Looks like we will have about 60 getting together in Boerne, Texas. Some sight.:yes::yes:

12,000 people?
That's a dang CITY!! :D
There's about 1,000 residents in our Hamlet, and 3,000 in the entire Township.
Perhaps 15,000 in the County...
I've got Five other Spyders within a 15 mile radius of me, so I bump into other bikes on a pretty regular basis.

Also few and far between here. That's what makes the brand "special" here I guess. Still get lots of waves and "what the heck is that" looks from the cagers. I love every minute of it.

I wish there were more around. Really tired of all the questions at every stop. At least if there were more we could each take one question. How much did you pay? How's the gas mileage? How fast does it go? And my favorite, is that a Can Am Spyder?

Depends..!

On where you are...I am in southern (bordertown Mexico) California, best ryding around (all year) and seldom find another spyder. If we have a club ryde we can muster up to 25. The Ride for kids last weekend we had over 40. But I ryde the back roads hills and twisties and nary see a one...:dontknow:
