• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I ordered a few small things for the Spyder from MotoSport.com this past weekend and they are supposed to be here today. Delivery tracking has it out on the FedEx truck for delivery today and I'm hoping it shows before I have to go to work. Deb got her new mini HD video camera this morning and thats making me more anxious to get my "new toys". I should be getting the VHoldR camera that lamonster and DocDoru have along with some Hi Temp paint, bar ends and tank pads.

what bard ends and tank pads did you get?

Lockhart Phillips Smooth Bar Ends in black and Lockhart Phillips Carbon Look Tank Protector Triple. I'm not sure how well either item will work with the Spyder but at $9 and $15, I figured they would be worth a looksee. Plus, they claim to have a no hassle return policy if things don't work out.

yeah I put a progrip protector on the tank like the one I have on my bike and it does the job I guess, does not look bad. I saw the BRP is coming out with one as well.

Got the stuff delivered after I left for work and just got to see it tonight when I got home. The camera looks like it'll work out great. Small, lightweight, easy to operate. I've liked the videos I've seen from lamonster and DocDoru using this camera so I'm sure it works great.

The bar ends just don't cut it. They appear to be for looks only as there isn't much weight to them. Unfortunately the diameter of them is kind of small and they just don't look good on the Spyder. I saw some at a local bike shop that might work out better. I'll go back and check them out again.

The tank protector seems to be alright. I'll give it a test fit tomorrow.
