• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Now This REALLY Bites

Hang in there..!!

Welcome to the North East. If you don't like the weather, just wait an hour or two, it'll change, You're from CT, you should be used to it by now.

True enough, but I'm not worried about CT, I'm worried about Lake George. I don't mind riding in the rain too much, but my wife's take on it is "If I have to take a shower I'd rather do it at home with HOT water".

Does she have some decent raingear?? :dontknow:
You could try pointing out to her that the best stories, often come from the worst experiences. :D

We're heading toward Groton on Sunday... the Submarine Museum!

Yeah, we have pretty good rain gear, she just hates it. Have fun in Groton. Should be a nice ride. Take pix & post them on this forum, not that other one.:lecturef_smilie:

Don't sweat it too much.
Honest, I can't understand all the hubbub about global warming. All the scientists are predicting disastrous changes in the weather 50 years from now, and they can't even predict the weather 9 days from now.

As an example:
Saturday September 13.
Chance of rain 52%
Accumulation 0.02"

In my humble opinion, I don't think this is something to be overly concerned about. Of course things may change as we get closer to the date.
My Sena Bluetooth units are weather proof. DAMHIKT

Have Rain Suits: Will Travel

Enjoy the trip, but be prepared for the worst--just in case! Most of the time, the weather is not as bad as they say it will be.
