Don't sweat it too much... 1) Weather forecasters can barely get today right, 2) 10-day forecasts are like predicting stocks next year.

Now, that's not to say there won't be any rain, but the best forecast is the actual source... let's wait a few days and see what happens, but regardless, I'm inbound starting Monday from Texas!!

True enough, but I'm not worried about CT, I'm worried about Lake George. I don't mind riding in the rain too ​much, but my wife's take on it is "If I have to take a shower I'd rather do it at home with HOT water".

Yeah, we have pretty good rain gear, she just hates it. Have fun in Groton. Should be a nice ride. Take pix & post them on this forum, not that other one.:lecturef_smilie:

Honest, I can't understand all the hubbub about global warming. All the scientists are predicting disastrous changes in the weather 50 years from now, and they can't even predict the weather 9 days from now.


As an example:
Saturday September 13.
Chance of rain 52%
Accumulation 0.02"

In my humble opinion, I don't think this is something to be overly concerned about. Of course things may change as we get closer to the date.
