Best Deal on Extended warranty?

I'm not one who usually gets extended warranties 'cuz MOST of the time it's a rip-off. So I did not purchase an Extended Warranty when I bought my 12 RTL about 18 months ago. I've seen many posts stating that they are SOOOO happy that they bought the BEST Warranty. Others say they think the Zurich Extended is the way to go...I have questions:
1. Is $750 for 3yrs from BurtsMegaMall the best price around for the BEST warranty? This is the best price I've found posted.... my dealer wanted $1300 when we originally bought the Spyder.
2. Does the Zurich (5yr) Warranty cover everything the BEST does for the $860 seen posted?
Seems that if it's apples to apples, $110 is a killer deal for 2 more years of coverage...
I'm assuming you all think an Extended is prudent and not just a waste of money. (feel free to give your opinion on that too!)Thoughts?

I called around in April this year. At the time the best price was 699.00 from Mega. My dealer wanted 1100.00 but he eventually priced matched and I bought it from the dealer for 699.00

Definitely shop around or have your dealer price match. How would claims be handled on Zurich? Do you have to pay then submit for reimbursement? With the BEST you only have $50 out of pocket and it is accepted at all Can Am dealers. I would worry about having the Zurich and breaking down away from your selling dealer. You could potentially have to put up a lot of $$ and then wait for reimbursement.

As for having one or not, I say definitely get one. Mine paid for itself on my 2010.

I have Zurich 5 years after my warranty ends 850 no deductible you can take it to anyone that repairs can am i called my dealer and they will take it and any others will too

I just bought a 3-year BEST from Pitbull for $749. Done over the phone in no time. Just be sure to tell them you're with SL. Until I did, the price was higher. Pleasure to deal with, no hassle.

I just got the 3 year BEST for $600.00 even. The dealer wanted $650.00 but I talked him down to $600.00. My original warrenty ran out today. Received my BEST warrenty card today in the mail. Bruce
