There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Wifey and I went for a 200+ mile ride today. Mostly back roads with highest speed limit of 50 mph on the trip. The combination of traffic and speed limits kept me from my usually more aggressive riding style. When we filled up I was amazed to find that we got 42.3 MPG!! Previously our best mileage was 39 mpg. we have only about 1500 miles on our RT. Wow.

Congrats! It will get a little better with more miles. My best has been 44 mpg:ohyea:

:congrats: I have found it amazing; the 1330s just seem to be so much more thought-out as a touring package than the 998s were... :2thumbs:

Congrats on the great MPG....

Yes, very good MPG! It's good you are seeing that at the 1500 mile mark. That's when I was seeing it getting in that range as well. My best has been around 43MPG, but continue to have it range from 38-42 MPG for most of our rydin' except when going on the interstates. High speeds on interstates will consume the gasoline quicker and I'm getting in the low 30's when hitting it hard on interstates (which I try to avoid, but it happens :opps:-- LOL).

Congrats on your 2014 RT and enjoy the great fuel economy :clap::clap::clap: ... I can't stop smilin' when rydin' our 2014 RT Limited - it's an AWESOME machine! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

BTW: I totally agree with Bob's comment in an earlier post "the 1330s just seem to be so much more thought-out as a touring package than the 998s were... " -- exactly right!!

So just hit the 'Fridge for a quick snack and a bottle of water; go fuel-up and keep riding!! :2thumbs:

Sorry Dee... I had to play with the size and colors of your message so that I could easily read it...

I'd say that great minds think alike :D
But I wouldn't want to insult you! :opps:
The 2010s set the table...
the 2014s are one very nice feast for the senses! :2thumbs:

Oh....
Regarding fuel mileage: I was forced to dump 87 octane in mine today... (39.7 mpg)
I hope th see if there's any difference in the fuel mileage with it...
Abd if still runs as smooth and sweet!

Congrats

WOW! Mindman we ride the same roads. I get anywhere from 34 to 38.50. Haven't broken the 39 barrier yet. I guess I am a little more aggressive. LOL

Are you going to the Dream Ride on the 24th? We are and hope to meet other Spyder riders there.

PERFECTLY!! :D
Thank you!
I'm at a 39.5 mpg average right now...
A low of 35.4
A high of 43.4
most recently: 39.7

Hey Vidman....this was not one of my "usual" shortish rides. Pretty cool ride if you haven't done it yet. Don't feel bad about the mileage. My best up until this ride was 39-39.5. The "lack of throttle" was mainly route- imposed. :opps:

Rte 44 north to Rte 7, and up to Bennington Vt. (Stop at The Apple Barn in Bennington if you get the chance). In Bennington, grab Rte 9 East and then back down to CT 91 South.

Haven't even thought about the Dream Ride. Maybe we'll see you there. Not sure right now.
