• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

EBOLA

Would you feel the same way, if it was a loved one that contracted it?
VERY good question! :2thumbs:

If it was me that was infected? Yes, I would still feel the same way.
If it was a family member; I hope to never have to make that decision...
Since insurance is my gamefield; I fully understand the concept of doing what is right for the greater good...
It would test my inner strength, but I'd probably still not want them home... :yikes:

Does that make me a cold and callous Bastard? :dontknow:

I have to call B.S. on that one. I remember what you told me you said to your healthcare provider, when they weren't going to pay for a specific medication for your wife; I'll leave it at that.

The media feeds on these things and they incite fear for a living. Yes it is a horrible disease but not worth a moments thought for me unless I can help. I will live until I die and not know what happened a millisecond after, lol.

Look at the bright side, if half the globe died as a result of it we would have cured global warming (according to the greenies), increased employment opportunities, solved world hunger etc. If all the people on earth fell victim we would have finally achieved world peace, solved animal cruelty, war, all human suffering and so on. So the is a silver lining after all, lol. ;)

Don't tell me the sky is falling, and there won't be spyderlovers.com?

It might have been about twenty years ago now... wow!
A Virginia-based "Think Tank" reported that they actually figured out what the World's carrying capacity is for the human species..
TWO-billion... :yikes:
It appears that we've got a lot of dying to do; before we get our numbers down to an actual sustainable level...

Those Malthusian warnings come up about every 20-30 years. Population growth is essential for economic prosperity.

The cost of raising children exceeds the economic value accreting to "me" for making that investment. Ergo, population growth rates among educated, white collar workers, in the USA and much of Europe has fallen below the replacement rate. This is astonishingly apparent in Russia too. Astonishing because Russia does not exhibit the same demographic traits of education and income as other countries.

As a result of this, coupled with your assertion, I must conclude that we are all going to die in poverty.

That's why we need immigration (legal, of course)!
