• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Clunking sound in front end

Thanks Bajaron

No...I am not a real mechanical minded person. I am waiting for my bro-in-law to come help me. I have to figure if I need just the links or the sway bar or both. I will be getting in touch with you soon. And by the way...I apologize for my ranting. I am not as hot tempered as I may seem. Thanks everyone for your advice. Well Taken.

No need to apologize. Chances are this is an easy fix and you don't need a thing. It certainly isn't going to be the sway bar causing the clunk. And it is unlikely to be a defective Heim joint link, though don't rule anything out at this point.

It will most likely be loose linkage or another component that works with the sway bar which is making the noise.

With one person feeling each part one by one as another person rocks the Spyder back and forth, you'll come to the offending component soon enough.

Let us know what you find.

Maybe with some photo

Hi,

I will use some of the spyderlovers photo for Thrinsag.

Look under the lower control arm suspension.

That it under the plastic cover and you should see this. And tight both side bolt upper and lower and mine too upper was loose and making clunck sound. If you can lift your bike with jack it will be easier. I remove the plastic cover with phillips screwdriver (4 or 5 screw).
