• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here is the new Kumho tire I ordered online that will take the place of the stock Kenda. Having it installed on 7-11 (next Friday).

I hope to get more than the 4,200 miles I got out of the OE tire.

Post back how the tire works out. I've been looking at this tire myself. I have just over 8k on the Kenda and it looks like I will be needing a new rear tire real soon.

And you will..!!

get more miles as many here are reporting. Do hope your not tossing the Kenda too soon. Double check the wear limit for not all those cross bars are wear limits and that is really low mileage for a 2012. Have been seeing from my own group of ryders that they are not reading the tire right.
20140408_173906.jpg that little triangle indicates where the wear bars are. If I'm wrong and your tire is smooth across I said nothing...

The Kenda is very slick in the center....the outside edges are worn, but not too bad. I just don't want to chance a tire that's worn like this...I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but after reading posts from others here, I believe I will get a lot better mileage on the Kumho ecsta AST.

RYDE SAFE!

Thanks for the info... That's what I was hoping for!

[Who is the dealer ?
I live in the area near Bowling Green. The dealer I deal with will only install OEM tires.

Can Am dealer in Paducah...I called the dealer in Clarksville, TN & they told me they would install it if I couldn't get anyone locally. Good luck...

That's the tire I ran on my 08 GS and was more than pleased with the performance, unlike the stock Kenda. :ani29:
