There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Check out places that sell Marine speakers/amps/stereo's thats what i would do. But i prefer the helmet setup rather than speaker setup.

100 dollar set from dwgspeakers.com
2 water proof speakers and a small amp.
works juuuuust good enough to hear them on the freeway
that thing behind the iphone is the remote with on/off and volume.

Just last weekend I installed one from gooddeals18.com They have really cheap systems. I've had one on my Valkyrie for about a year without a problem. For the Spyder I removed the speakers from there case an fabricated mounts for them inside the dash pod out of site and mounted the amp in the trunk. I'm running it with an MP3 player that has an FM Tuner built in Sounds good up to around 65 with the stock windshield.

Another setup I saw in Daytona.

Will try to post pics of mine for you tomorrow. Did mine at a custom audio shop in Oakland, CA. Awesome job on the install SpyderX. Are you in the Bay area at all? I sent you a PM on seeing if you had any issues with battery drainage when you are just chilling and playing your music while running off the battery. Anyone know of a capacitor or something you can buy to prevent your battery from depleting?

Hello,

I was wondering if Lamont or anybody else had any additional information about these speaker enclosures. This is exactly what I have been looking for to put on my machine. It looks like a custom fabricated enclosure for standard 6.5" marine speakers. I would love to find out who made these.

SOUNDS FOR YOUR SPYDER

I have the SCALA RIDER MULTISET Q2 IT HAS BUILT IN FM RADIO MP 3 PLUG IN BLUETOOTH ENABLED RIDER TO PASSENGER INTERCOM AND RIDER TO RIDER INTERCOM AND THE SPEAKERS GO IN YOUR HELMET ! IT WORKS GOOD FOR ME AND ALL THAT FOR JUST UNDER $400.00

Marcel from F1 just finished a full fairing for the Spyder which will include waterproof speakers and it looks real nice. Not sure on the price yet.

It's not done as you can see. The speakers have not yet been installed and the rearview mirrors are not there.

I have the UNiQ Cycle Sound speaker system mounted to my handlebars currently but am considering this fairing.

Interesting news SpyderGirl. I have a F1 Slider that I have enjoyed for about 6 months. I am interested to see how his fairing turns out. I am not sure which I like best the fairing or exterior pods. Hopefully it will be available soon. Thanks for the info!

Sounds for Spyder

I used DWG speaker setup and amp.Speakers are mounted thru the slots in the mirror post with spacers and some longer bolts I picked up from home depot. The brackets that came with the speakers are nice because they have a hole that you can use with ram mount products for mounting GPS ect....Not bad looking or sounding for a 100 bucks. I found cutting the plugs off and snaking the wires thru the mirror post into the instrument cluster area made installation a lot quicker and easier. :2thumbs:
