• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

but it is just a metal bar?

For all the RT models it is unnecessary to remove the Frunk and I do not recommend it.
Ron's instructions are good, Finless' video is great. It's an hour job at most on an RT, with changing the heim links (please put Ron's links on, the plastic ones are....plastic).

If you really take your time and do exact feeler gauge measurements on the gaps to get it perfectly centered like this retired submariner did, you might waste an extra 20 mins...maybe...

As long as you don't mind laying down under a :spyder2:, and have full use of both hands (the wrenching gets a little tight), then this is a easy level DIY.

I am not sure why some here think you have to take the Frunk off with the RS and GS. That is absolutely not true. You do not!!! The instructions from Ron even say so. Its a much easier job on a RS then an ST and RT simply because everything is out in the open.

Centering is only required on the Pre-2013 models.
