• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Helmet Locks and Kuryakyn Grips

I'm looking for some Handlebar helmet lock alternatives. Are there any besides cables??? I've found only one...
I really like the Kewlmetal Kewllock set that goes on the ends of the handlebars, but they're a bit pricy (no real surprise there, what's not). They're almost 1/3 more for the RT without the Kuryakyn grips, which I don't have. But, I can't seem to find how much the grips are or where to buy them. I've also heard that replacing the grips breaks the Heated Grip functionality of the RT. Is that true?
The trouble I have with the License plate style lock is that the helmets hang so low and make a very tempting target for folks to put stuff into.....

Little checking..!!

with the sponsors here. There is a license plate holder brace with locks for two helmets. Some roadsters have helmet lock/hooks under the seat but you may need an extension. I do like the retracktable cable ones with combination lock from kryptonite. Locking the helmets on the seat helps keep photo ops folks from sitting on the riadster...:ohyea:

I apologize that I didn't make myself very clear Chupaca (I sometimes ramble on)! I did do some checking, but what I'm looking for and couldn't find, is another end-cap style lock other than the one sold by Kewlmetal (or similar). Mainly because I'm cheap!
My RT does have "under the seat" posts, but the straps on our helmets are too short to use them because I can't close the seat once hooked onto them....
