Does nobody have or use spell checker on their computer system ? It does it all for you.
Of course! But it wont fix grammar or spelling the use of a word incorrectly like heard vs herd.

I get your drift there Bob, but there is no hope if they don't know the difference between "herd" and "heard"
While I will admit to a certain level of angst over my spelling, I don't find it necessary to be like some of the spelling Nazis on some forums who delight in pointing out the mistakes of others, usually with a few spelling errors of their own in the reply use to chastize. I have developed a acronym for those types:
Annoyingly
Superior
S**ts
Hollering
Over
Lackadaisical
English
Spelling
from now on I will use this color so you will have to work to work to check me spelling:roflblack:
No, but three rights make a left. So, do two wrongs make a right?
So, do two wrongs make a right?
I guess I'm just old school. Spelling mistakes bother me. Here are several I have seen the past several months that bug me a lot.
Break vs brake - Break is when you bust something. Brake is what you actuate with your foot to come to a stop. Spell check is dumb. It doesn't know the difference.
Tie vs tye - Tie means to join. Tye, well it ain't the right spelling!
Heard and herd - Heard is what happens when sound tickles your ear drum and your brain interprets it. Herd is a bunch of cows!
Ryde and ride - As long as we're talking Spyders, I'll accept ryde. Any other brand, you better use ride. Don't want to insult your Spyder, do you?
Reel and real - Reel is what you have on your fishing pole. Real is what ain't fake!
I may add more as I come across them!
Bob D.,
Can't you get another gun thread started, so this thread dies off?
