• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TpikeTrooper, there are a few of us up in Central Maine that get together when we can. I will admit, The maine forum has been alittle quiet for the last few months. Anytime you are in riding in Central Maine give a shout out on this forum. I usually check out Spyderlovers everyday. Happy riding. Bruce

P.S. I lived in W. Buxton in the late 80's.

Welcome...

...tpike! We live about 70 miles north of you. Were you in Lewiston yesterday? I met a white RT on 202 around 3:00.

I met more Spyders on the road yesterday than ever. The first was the white RT on 202 near Lewiston, the 2nd was a white RS on 202 in Manchester, the 3rd was a yellow RS turning on to the Pond Road in Manchester, AND the 4th was a blue RT on 27 in North Augusta! It was a BIG day for Maine Spyder sightings.

White RT Ltds--they Rock

Howdy,
Welcome to Spyderlovers and to the world of Spyder ryding. We bought our White RT Ltd :ani29:and RT 622 trailer last summer and just love it.
Hope to see y'all on the road.
Safe Travels

Sue and I went for a ride last night, saw four spyders in Bangor last night. Enjoying the ride good to seenyou enjoying the ride. Bruce

Also new onwer!

We just got our RT this Monday! Had a Yamaha Midnight Venture with bolt on trike kit. Liked it but not as much fun as two wheels. Ride, like all trikes, rocky back and forth for passenger and driver. I have shoulder and leg issues and so far the power steering is really nice! Need to add; the ride of this RT is more cycle like and more enjoyable especially for my wife!

I'm a little late in answering this, but not too much action in passed years. We seem to be growing in numbers though. Went to Spyderfest at the beginning of the month in Springfield , MO. Had a good time. Only problem I was alone for the trip. Rain on the way down but nice weather while in Springfield and on the way back. The worst traffic on the way back was 236 from Kittery to S. Berwick. Even the cities were faster moving. Only one other star on the map at Pitbull's for the state of Maine was Houlton area. Starting to get ready for our annual Nova Scotia trip. Going to the Bluenose Rally just outside of Kentville. Small rally but a lot of fun. Really nice people. Beautiful riding. Also planning on attending Spyderquest in Lake George, N.Y. in September. Now if the weather can cooperate we might get some riding in. If you happen to see two red spyders on the road there's a good chance it's Winslow and me.

Blackwidow where are you from

...in New Portland, near Kingfield...

I'm pulling a map together, going to try to post it. I'll start a new thread for our locations and then maybe we can pull together a meet and greet... but I'm not picking the date this time...

Edit: I just tried Google Maps and added pins but I'm not able to save it to post. Any ideas on an application I can use?
