• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Installing baja ron sway bar...suggested FOX shocks setting?

Hey guys,

2012 RSS...got the ron bar and going to have my dealer install it in the next week or so. I was just wondering what the recommended setting that I should have the shop adjust my FOX shocks to, now that I'll have the upgraded Ron sway bar?

My goal would be the sportiest most nanny-evasive setup possible. I'm 31, 6', 180lbs and in shape. I have extensive ATV riding experience and plan to maximize body english in the twisties. Want the setup which keeps the nanny at bay as best as possible.

Recommendations?

Thanks! :2thumbs:

I will definitely do that...I did a search for bajaron and it appears that he goes by a different screen name on here as it didn't turn up on threads started by him. What is his handle on here?

I just did the same install. Ron bar and the Fox shocks on my 2012 RS. I left the shocks at the out of the box setting and that seems to be perfect for me so far. The ride is still plush up front but the body roll in the corners is gone. I ride aggressively too and with this set up I have not had the nanny engage at all in the 600 miles or so I've ridden with the new parts.

Sorry, not sure how I missed this thread.

You can always PM me or reach me by email at [email protected] (email will usually get a quicker response). I would need some particulars before I can give you any recommendation on the pre-load setting for the Fox shock install.
