• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

when i installed my muth mirrors on my 13 i broke both mirrors trying to get them off, so i still have 13 more years of bad luck. i might have more bad luck then i install the new set on my 14
 
Wow you got ripped off. :joke: I got mine for $8.00 and free shipping directly from China last winter. I just check and they have jacked up the price to $9.00. :roflblack:

I have not been brave enough to try and take the glass out of my ST mirrors yet. Now your little project has got me thinking about it again.

wow what a great deal you got mine where $19.99 i wanted them fast so i payed more for shipping let me know when you get the courage to do them you know i had the courage to do mine
 
I did the same thing, took a lot of patience but well worth the effort.
Love the way they look and you can't beat the price! :yes:

When I order directly out of China it is cheap but it can take between 1 and 6 weeks to get. It's not the vendors fault but Canadian Customs. That's why I look for a local vendor first.

The ST mirrors are different then the RT mirrors. A lot easier to take apart but looks like it may be harder to take the glass out without breaking it.

I hope you have better luck with your 14. I know that a while back I would have gladly paid you a $100 for an unbroken right mirror glass. If you use a little heat and pry from the bottom (longest straight edge) with a putty knife until you can spray WD-40 in there until it is soaked this will aid in the removal. That way it takes less heat so you do not distort the plastic back plate. The WD-40 also makes it easier to remove the adheasive.
