• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just had my 2014 Laser-aligned...

I was a skeptic... :opps:
No more!
The bike now tracks through both left and right-hand turns as if it's on a rail!
The Skittishness is gone, and the bars just feel a whole lot "quieter", in my hands!
Ron... you done good!! :firstplace: :2thumbs:

So Now.........

It sure is something special, ain't it?

Amazing how much difference something so (relatively) minor makes to the ride.

If I wait to buy a 2015, do you suppose BRP will figure out how to align a $30,000 machine at the FACTORY???? Really, is that too much to ask? :dontknow:

John, I think he used Ron near New Paltz. Ron did my bike as well and the ride is about 110 to 115 miles each way on the NY thruway. As a matter of fact I might be going up there on Monday to have the warranty work done. The ride isn't to bad either. Ron is a member of the NY Spyder group.

He said that it really wasn't off all that much... You'l have to get him to answer specific questions about the numbers. :D
And I HATE to admit that I wasn't really completely sold on this service... :opps:
But feeling how much difference it made in the bike: :2thumbs:

HEY DEE!!
That that guy with the :cus:-eating grin get home yet?? He left here at about 3:30; singing songs of praise for the 2014 RTs... :D

Congrats BOB, just did some rough calculations and you have almost 5.6% of all the posts made here on spyderlovers site.
What would we do without you!

Have several people in IL who will agree with you about the alignment changes after today.

I'm just a Bald Cheerleader with lousy legs... :opps:
There's lots of folks in here; who say TONS, with much less noise than I do!

What is the going rate for the alignment? Does it include the buds hook up? Tom :trike:

Ron's set up is really nice. I had his son change my tires fronts last year and rear this year. Then he put me up on his custom diamond plate lift for the laser alignment. All done at the same garage area. Both Ron and his son are very nice and are super knowledgeable and about spyders and anything with a motor. I cant wait to see the mobile air compressor in action at spyderquest.
