• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Karyl,......This is why I highly recommend buying re-mote tire pressure sensors for the TRAILER not the Spyder..........If A tire on the trailer goes FLAT this is the only hope of discovery before " IT GETS SHREDDED ".............This I learned from experience .......................PS the prices have come way down from a few years ago and you can get reliable units on-line for $ 125 - $150...................Mike :thumbup:........Re-placing a tire may not break the bank.......BUT if the wheel gets damaged also ( and this is very very likely ) you could be looking at $ 400 + for BRP products ..........just sayin..........:thumbup:

I always carry a compressor and a tire plug kit (left over habit from my BMW days). It won't fix a "shredded" tire, but it will get by as far as a puncture goes :clap:
Oh yes of course! (I just sold my R1150R) But if you get a bad one a plug isn't going to be adequate and a new tyre is
going to be required. There are only three or four places to my knowledge who can supply and fit a suitable tyre in the UK!!
I'm seriously thinking of buying a purpose built belt tension measurement tool so at least I can remove and refit the rear wheel!

Great story! Who would think to buy a spare tire and wheel for the trailer? So glad you did! :thumbup: Tom :trike:

Mike. Send me details

i can see a huge advantage for a sensor. I have the plig, compressor unit with me...but they don't make plugs that BIG...lol. Thks in advance.

Thank You MurphyBrown

Thanks to your post we have discovered that we also do not have a way to jack up trailer and take off flat tire should the need arise.

Thank you for your post. We are going tomorrow to get a jack and tire iron for our trailer in case we need them. Also in Checking what size tire iron we would need discovered that the tent trailer we bought a few weeks ago (used) the lug nuts were only hand tight.:shocked:

See ya soon in Chelan...:yes::thumbup:
