There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Learning To Live With It

The missus and I bought or 2013 last July. Or expectations were so high, it felt crushing when so many things started to go wrong. The wife was so afraid that she would not ride on it. I have maligned BRP in the past, but I am going on record to state that BRP in the end took care of us. The dealer - Stamford Motorsports in Stamford CT is one really great dealer, and has gotten between me & various people at BRP on two occasions. First, last September when they had the :ani29: for 3 weeks. The owner had his personal :ani29: delivered to me so I had a ryde. Second, very early this spring when they had it for 2 weeks. I did not ask for a loaner as there was still a lot of snow & chemicals on the road that I would not have been riding anyway. Heck, my driveway was a solid sheet of ice! The tech who works on my Spyder, Jeremy, knows these machines inside out. Everything I asked for, I got, thanks to Chris, the Owner of the dealership.

So now the weather has finally turned, the wife and I have taken 3 short trips of about 300 miles each and her confidence in the :ani29: has returned. Yes, it still gets hot, and yes the gas mileage isn't great either. It has its idiosyncrasies, but we are learning to live with it. Looking forward to a lot of spring, summer, and fall riding. We have two long trips planned, one to Rehoboth Beach Delaware in August for a week at the beach, and another to Lake George NY in September for SpyderQuest 2014. Spyderpops will be installing a BajaRon sway bar & Heim links for me there, and Outlaw is going to do a Laser Alignment.

We hope that all of you :ani29: lovers out there have a great riding season:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:. We are sure looking forward to ours:yes::yes::yes:.

Good to hear..!!

when I lived in Stamford they were the best deal around. Glad you found them and they were able to help you out...enjoy your season and may it last as long as your winter did...!! :roflblack:

Not a bad ride. I'm in Orange County NY and ride over to Westport all the time. He and his son can do all the mods you listed while you wait. He is away for the next 12 days. Nice ride and getting the stuff installed now might be better than not having them all summer

He's going boating next week...
Give him a little time to get his "land legs" back upon his return, and he'll never disappoint you! nojoke

If you are going to be in Westport, PM me and let's ryde. Hope you have a friend/wife/significant other that likes to ryde also. The missus is definitely down for a day trip. Two weeks ago, we rode up to Great Barrington, MA for lunch at a great Mexican restaurant that we know. Food was great, ryde was better, this is what it is all about. Oh, and BTW, We wave to all. On the back roads of New England everybody waves.

Hey Bob, how are your land legs, and what floats your boat? Also thanks f:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:for the Guardian Bell. :ani29: is running great, no probs, no gremlins. Anyway, the missus believes it as she gave a bell for the :ani29: as well. So now we have two for double the protection!! Took three 300 mile trips in the last 2 weeks and Momma was happy!! Hope to see you at SpyderQuest in September.

Very glad you are happy. As you know we are going to SpyderQuest also. Is there a Vendor list out?

I bought the sway bar and need an alignment. Was thinking of Ron also. Recommended to me by Bob. Maybe a ride there???

I like your attitude! Glad you and the mrs are enjoying your spyder again. I just picked up a 14' and have been waiting for the weather to finally break. Can you let me know of that Mexican restaurant...I love heading out to western mass.

Would love to get together for a ryde. I come to Westport to visit friends that live there. If you do decide to have Ron do the work on your Spyder I would meet up with you at his place. After he does the work we could take a nice ride around the Catskills

i went up up and saw Ron and got my RT alignened a month or so ago. He has a great set up in his garage and is very meticulous when doing alignments. It was interesting to watch him go through the process and see what the specs were before and how precise he was able to change it to. There is a dealer a few miles down the road that resets the steering sensor after the alignment and that is part of the deal. The dealer got me in and out in 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend giving him a shout and having it done. Great part of the state to ride in is a bonus !

No vendor list yet, although I do know that Spyderpops & Outlaw will be there. I think that registration starts on May the 20th. Vendor list should come out either then or shortly thereafter.

Once I empty the piggy bank I may get up there. Definitely up for a ride.
