First of all... Sorry for those that are not getting the Facebook deal. It is a nice tool and like almost any piece of technology, you need to know how to set it up. If you are not into social media, well... it is like an above poster said "it is like saying I have no TV back in the day".

The convenience of Facebook is that uploading and posting pics is a lot easier to do than thru Spyderlovers. And in Lamont's defense, he (as well as Len and the whole MoGang) have been working their tails off to make this the best Spyderfest yet. It was just easier to post pictures thru Facebook, you can check Spyderfest US and Lamonster Garage's Facebook page. Patty Ingall was the official photographer and has a few pics on her Facebook page, not sure about her website. Eventually, when they catch a break, Lamont and other Facebookers-Spyderlovers (myself included) will download pics to Spyderlovers for you "Facebook haters". You have the right avoid Facebook but to keep up on what happened, and I am aware that the Spyderfest.com website will also be uploading an album. So have a little patience and the pics will start coming up.

Note: I just realized that I have been gone from Spyderlovers all week since I have been busy at Spyderfest, but I have noticed that a few Spyderlover-Facebookers have been keeping up with you non-Facebookers. Like I said, eventually Lamont will bring you up to speed on his side of the deal.

I am not trying to disrespect anyone. If I did, I apologize. Not liking Facebook is your right and I respect that. All that I am saying is that for the majority of people, Facebook is easier to post pictures and information than any other way.

Oh ok...some people don't like some of the social media stuff because of the NSA, others because they just don't care, others because they are happy and don't want to be bothered learning yet another software package. I also have friends who don't watch TV, and other friends that don't eat red meat...I even have one friend who is weird.
