There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It would be nice for those of us that do not do facebook to have the same information available. I am NOT going there PERIOD. I would sure hate to see SL go second class and be usurped by facebook. Hope that does not happen.

I have one media account for professional purposes only, but have also avoided FB and Twitter like the plague.

Substitute spyderlovers for Facebook and in my opinion it's just poking fun at others. There is quite a bit of difference when making remarks to be funny (or trying to be funny) and direct insults at one or more individuals with the intent of getting a rise out of them just because someone wants to throw a tantrum and be noticed. An example is when you were called an a**hole recently, and I think that post/thread was removed.

:agree: with those that are posting concerning insults to our friend Bob. The insults seem to be increasing in frequency and intensity. I also think they are out of line. If you don't like to hear from Bob, don't read his posts. Insulting the man just because he posts, is wrong IMO.
