• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trunk Switch

I've read a lot about the trunk/frunk switch for the 2014 RT and I still don't know whats what ? What do I need to open the Trunk/Frunk from the dash besides a new switch ? Is the servo/actuator there or do I need that as well ?Is it wired ? I don't know why BRP did away with this function . I get it that some where releasing the parking break instead of openning the trunk, so make the Fog light and Trunk switch the same .:banghead:

The only advantage I see to having the switch is that you can open it without turning the bike off - though why you'd want to escapes me. Am I missing something :sour:

Actually, you do not need to turn the bike off. Someone mentioned it a few weeks ago in another thread, and I just went out and checked. With the key on, and the bike running, you can push the key down and unlock either the seat or the frunk without turning the bike off.
