When we were in Daytona Bill and Liz stopped by with their matching red SE's. Bill already had the Kewlmetal 9" handlebar conversion on his SE and Liz was adding the 3" No Magic risers to her SE as she already had the 1" BRP riser block.
After the install it gave us a chance to see how much taller a 9" KM bar was compared to a 3"+1" NMN riser setup was. You would think by the numbers the difference would be 5" right? Maybe in man inches it would be
but in real world inches it's pretty much the same.
These were taken with the same amount of pullback set on both.
Kewlmetal 9" bar replacement.
No Magic 3" riser with BRP 1" riser block.
Now I'm sure that the Kewlmetal bars have a 9" rise in them but they are not 9" over stock as you can see. The No Magic 3" and 4" risers are 3" and 4" over stock. No matter what you call it there is only so much rise you can get out of any of these mods with the stock cables, that is the limiting factor. I think the Heli riser block was over 2" lower than these but they do bring the bars back.
Here's a few more shots of Bill and Liz's Red SE's. They drew a crowd everywhere they went. :spyder2::spyder2:
