• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cruise control not working.

Just pulled my RT-S out of its long winters nap, all seemed fine except the cruise control doesn't work now. The indicator light doesn't come on. Just wondering is there a separate fuse to it. everything else seems to be working.:dontknow:

What year RT do you have?
If you take a peek in your owner's manual; you should be able to find a description of just what fuse, handles what chore...
I looked in my old 2010 manual, but couldn't find much that was useful... :opps:

Thanks Bob
I will when I get home this evening. Just taking a break at work and just thought I'd put the question out here. Oh by they it's a 2012.

John,
GOOD point!
If your brakelights are sticking "on"; your cruise control will never work...

:agree: Check brake light actuator and fuses first. That will save you $250 or so plus labor. Yes, they have to replace the whole unit if you have a bad switch. Mine went out at 26K miles and was not covered under warranty.

Well, my son and I went out to check out why the cruise control wasn't working. The brake light wasn't sticking but :opps: I was informed, by my son, that the cruise control was coming on, if I looked in the right spot for the indicator :opps: ( on the screen not on the tach ). :banghead: :roflblack: major malfunction corrected.

So with said and done we installed the dual trunk flag mount and Bajaron sway bar and links.

How can you tell if the brake light is sticking? How do you correct it?
