Went for a really nice ride today

After buying the Spyder last august I have been waiting for a day like today to just ryde by myself! It was fabulous and I had the sat radio playing some great tunes. Everyone is talking about how great the 2014 RT is... But I gotta tell you.. I LOVE my 2013 RT Limited!! I had a little slipping shifting from 1st to 2nd every now and then.. But other than that.. Just a PERFECT ryde!!

Now that the weather is breaking, we are all getting out for some ryding. I had 2 opportunities this weekend.

always good to get away on your own. Was out myself but we are not limited due to weather. Wife always wants to go but alone is nice, really cut loose and nag the nanny...:2thumbs: May you have many more days like today...:thumbup:

Today I got out on my Spyder for the first time this year. Had on my heated jacket liner but did not need to turn it on. The canals & fields were still frozen solid but the roads were clear.

I really needed that ride (60 miles) to clear away winter's cobwebs.

yeah always shift between 5000 and 6000 rpm... seems happier at 5000 though. slips for a second between 1st and 2nd about every third time.. checked oil and it was fine.. kinda stumped

Early season start up blues? If the situation persists, you need to have it checked out.

Went out again yesterday. Ran into mixed rain/snow about 20 miles out. Today--its snowing and we have a couple inches so far.

Weather supposed to be back to sunny and 40's tomorrow and through Saturday. Hope they are right. We have an early season ride scheduled for Saturday and already have 5 people signed up.
