• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dave and Teds 2014 Adventures

don't want to speak too soon

Dave,

We are just Glad to hear you are not in the pokie!!

Well yeah, remember me talking about taking road trip from hell to Michigan last week? I've got to use a personal day & take tomorrow off so I can go to court way up in BowlingGreen Ohio. So if you notice I'm absent for the next few days, then I'd have to say it would be a good guess thAt I ended up in the pokey :yikes: I'm praying for a better outcome tho

Make sure Teddy is with you and looking his best and then blame it on him!!! they will understand-------- I think. Tell them he was driving!!! If they know of SL they will believe that!!!

I'll catch up soon with all the details, but just wanted to let y'all know, we didn't end up in the pokey  but did end up having to shell out $195 :( Live'n & learn'n ................. the rough way :banghead:

cruise control

Yikes, that is a pretty stiff fine! :gaah: We all know how easy it is to be just cruising along and creep on up there - sounds like you better start using your cruise control to keep that speed down. We wouldn't want Teddy to lose his license! :f_spider:

Believe me, I know those darn speed limits can get in the way of good time, especially when the weather is nice and the streets are clear. If my dream of an invisible cloaking device ever comes around, I'll be the first in line!

Hard to believe, but the ticket wasn't even for speeding. Pics from yesterday 60+Sun

Hey, that's some bad luck there, Dave! Sorry to hear you got nailed.

I'll try playing catch up with this post, but its likely going to take a few...

So I've come to the realization that I would find it very difficult to have a roommate (that I didn't know) alone with Teddy while I was away at work, so I've pretty much shot that idea down.

Next realization was that we can't continue to live beyond our means, so something has got to go. As much as I enjoy our condo, when faced with it or Teds Red Sled, no real surprise, but the condo looses. So I talked with one of my neighbors that is also a real estate agent and got her professional opinions on what she thought I would need to do as far as updating & upgrading to make our unit competitive in the market place. No surprise, kitchens & bathrooms make or break a sale. Quality over quantity.

TBC.....

Silence?

Dave ... you have been pretty quiet these last few weeks .... like, almost silent. Hope everything okay.

Best Regards .... Ann

:agree:Where you guys at? I started another post asking if anyone had heard from you guys, but did not get many replies! Although Bob said he saw you on PMing. Hope all is well!

Thanks for all the well wishes & concern. . . we ARE still alive

Wish I could say alive & well, but that just isn't true. If you've ever watched the sitcom 'Friends' & you know who Chandler Bing was & how he'd end up in all those crazy situations that he never intended, one after the other...... well, I'll just say we could be twins.

As of this posting, I'm depressed to say, Teddy & I won't be able to attend any events until after August 10th 2014. If this doesn't change, I truly fear for my sanity & poor Teddy has to deal with me :(

As usual, its a long story & I don't have the time right now to go into it all, but after getting so many concerned PMs about our whereabouts, I figured it best to at least make a post to update all of Teddy's fans and to let y'all know that we are still alive.

Dave~

Dave, it's good to hear from you. Rest assured, it's YOU we are mainly concerned with. No doubt Teddy is loved, but you are the one we place real value in. Please type a few lines when you have the time.

Small Steps Equals Progress

Remember; my friend...
...one foot; in front of the other, and no journey becomes impossible!

:agree: with Bob. Small steps / tasks taken one at a time and it is all possible!

Glad to hear from you ....:pray: that you and Teddy make it through your journey .... Best Regards .... Ann
