• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Am I breaking any rule?

I just bought a new pair of gloves. They say Harley Davidson on them. Is it OK to wear them on a Spyder? I haven't owned a Harley in 34 years.

They have good stuff. I have a nice long sleeve sweatshirt from HD, with dealer name on it and everything. If I go to a Spyderfest, I will surely be wearing it.

May even find some more when I am in Sturgis in a little more than a month.

No rules..!!

I think anyone that has a bike has something Harley. I never had one and never will but relatives know I ryde and get me Harley stuff....they are learning..:roflblack:

NO, NO, send them to me and I'll dispose of them for you. :D

I can use them; the other day I got out a couple pair of fabric type gloves to spray with water proofing in preparation for the BIG TRIP to Mo. Started squirting away and realized I had picked up a can of spray adhesive!! Now the fingers are all stuck together! :opps:

Smooth move. That sounds like something I am capable of.:yes:

:yikes: Unless your bike is taking immunosuppresants; accessory rejection may result!
Consult your dealer before taking any unauthorized accessory.
Common side effects may include:
Scorn and derision
embarassment
a feeling of not belonging
and unnecessary expenditures to replace accessories that do not meet the standards set by the brand...

One of my bikes is a maxi scooter. I like to ride my scooter or my 1700 MC with a scooter group in the area. Very eclectic group. I wear whatever is comfy not matter whose name is on it. Including Harley gear when I am on the scooter.

During one of our rides, few years back, up a very large hill with traffic one of our ppl was on a small 150cc scooter. He weighed over 300 pounds. Thus he was very slow coming up the hill and told us to go on, WE stopped at the top of the hill waiting for him. Saw a large motorcycle group coming up the hill. They surrounded him to protect him from the idiot cages. Awesome group. All were Harley's.

I love it when the fact THAT you ride is more important then WHAT you ride.

I have a HD helmet, summer gloves, boots, I use all the time, I'am not going to throw away a $ 450.00 helmet because I get a better (spyder) bike

Wearing them could lead to an insurmountable desire to "bar hop" and trailer your spyder to Sturgis every year. ;)

My wife and I both wear HD boots and love them and have never owned a HD. Very comfortable and have lasted well. (and we don't bar hop or trailer to Sturgis)

It's all good, I ride with a pair of HD gloves that I found one day a couple of years ago when I was out on a walk, I bought my Spyder last fall. I did offer them to my brother who rides a Honda Shadow first when I found them and he said thanks, but no thanks.....Honda snob:roflblack:
