...In Chile; this time.
This one sounds as if it had some teeth to it; an 8.2 magnitude!
If anybody has friends or family down there... Here's to hoping that they're okay! :cheers: :thumbup:

Know the feeling..!!

Being from Peru and having gone through some big ones I know the results. They will only mention the losses in the big cities but not the whole country side where construction is poor at best. Do hope the damage and loss is minimal...ray:

Chili is a "hot spot" for big ones. 8.2 is getting up there for sure.

So far today in Alaska: 54 quakes measuring .69 to 3.34. You usually note the ones that are 4.5 or higher.

Another daily earthquake hotspot for sure. :thumbup:

Animals do know. My dog would always start acting a little disturbed or uneasy a few hours before an earthquake.

If the Yellowstone volcano goes off--we are all going to be in for a heap of trouble. Lets hope that one is eons away.
