• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question for those with a hitch

Boot or ball get them at a bout dealer or parts store or better yet make your own up .. I use a yellow sleeve , for my boat shop works great and maches my bike to..

hitch ball

cover it liberally in black bearing grease it keeps people away
also keeps the south texas salt air rust down

I grease mine, and cover it with a trailer hitch ball cover. Available in any trailer department or at an RV store or trailer shop.

Don't think either of those will work. They are made to go on a ball that is on the end of a bar. The RT hitche balls, both BRP and after market, mount on a wide plate.

Either one will work just fine.
Don't be so quick to knock down a "good" idea!
Here is photo of 1 working just like it is supposed to work.tricplate.jpg
This is on my 2010 RTS

A cheap way to cover them... ;)
...And old tennis ball, with a slit cut in it!
