• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder owner

Not to flog a dead horse but isn't this the guy that people wanted to beat with various sticks last night?
And in a repeat performance not 24 hrs. later teaches his unlisenced girlfriend to do burnouts first thing. Do you see a pattern here?
Poor judgement lending it to a maniac and now this...
Congratulations anyway.
And uwe999, don't give me that "I love the safety card" line again as everyone saw it for what it was.
If you want to promote your irrisponsible attitude you may want to do it elswhere as some junior riders don't need to pick up your bad habits.

well, I can't really argue against that. I can't talk about safety while posting videos of my buddy and girl friend doing stuff that's illegal on the street. Bad judgment on my part. Sorry to anybody I upset.

You might want to consider adding something to your forum guidelines that you promote riding safety and don't like members post about burnouts and such?

If nobody objects I'll remove both videos from the messages to not encourage anybody else.

Btw, here in CA you only need a car license to ride a Spyder.

N0! Don't remove the videos,
They're fine.
That's the point of a public forum. Let people read the posts after and let them make their own decisions.
Sorry if you thought I was harsh earlier but it was just an opinion.

I think you're fine. I believe this posting of your GF doing burnouts received some negative response because your first video showed your friend jumping off the Spyder and riding kind of recklessly. I would guess more people who are generally safe have gotten "a little crazy" with their Spyder one time or another. Though I'm a big advocate of riding safely and following the speed limit, I have exceeded the speed limit, broke the rear tire loose or ridden aggressively enough to have the nanny kick in a couple of times. :opps: :D
