• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is on my Spyder forum her in Australia. Had some funny responses. Hope you enjoy it as well, but you have to be honest and admit how many you really knew. Unless you guys have a totally different set in the U.S.

Cheers

Mike

Looks like the typical hand signals to me I haven't used hardly any of them for awhile
thanks for the refresher

Without looking them up to be 100% sure I believe those are the same as ones taught by Goldwing Road Riders Association. They most likely are standard in most of the Western world.

Looks like standard hand signs here except I/we use two outside fingers for staggered/both tracks.
Gold Wing has some interesting ones, if you have a co-rider. I do not and can not remember many of them.

The only ones I've never used are the comfort and refreshment stop signals. The signal I've always used for police is to hold your hand over your head and twirl it around...

The signals posted look a lot like the MSF signals that we use. The signals are used by our group when riding. A safety meeting is held before rides, and most signals are reviewed so that the drivers are aware of them.

more hand signals/waves...

when you wave to passing riders
