• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seen the Phantom?

Thanks Sarg....I am aware of what I posted. But only had a response showing the 2008 picture.

Yet to see a 2009 picture...called BRP - they were no help. Thought I'd try this forum again....but no luck here either apparently.

I'm not the moron you think I am :D.

Patience is an issue for me you Crazy Canadian :clap:. I getting ready to drop nearly $18K on this machine and I don't even have a picture to help-the-hype.

 
yeah those are the kits....what he is looking for is a limited edition phantom being sold starting next month or something....he ordered one and wants to see a pic....I am thinking they will look similar to the kit ones with all the bells and whistles.:dontknow:
 
It's called mystic saphire, its a pretty blue with lots of sparkles in it, kinda changes hue when the light hits it. Then there are white pearl graphics of spiders and webs done ever so lightly on the fenders and hood (kinda ghost like) it looks great but its hard to get a good picture that does justice to it. The clear gloss over the paint is like a mirror and reflects the clouds and trees, etc. When I take a picture of it I can see me in the reflection LOL. I will post more pics this weekend. My son did the paint job. He does it professionally. The dodge challenger he did recently was on the cover of Rides magazine. Good thing he owes me LOL, or I would never have been able to afford that paint job. :joke:

Here's a pic I saw on the Can-Am site under their Spyder Blog section which had the details for that Phantom Spyder. Has the mono seat cover, ultra sport windshield, and 6 spoke wheels on the picture so I'm assuming its an official photo of the actual Spyder.

Whenever I get mine:pray:, I'd like to have it painted....I was thinking Phantom Black, but now I think I would like to have it solid black (no matte), with designs/decals of my choosing...

Those rims that are being asked about above are NICE.....

I think the limited edition also has blacked out rims also my dealer showed me pics of these Phantom Rims a few months back and were supposed to be available around may so I would amagine the Limited would have them also :spyder2:
