• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I think women in motorsports is a great thing.

Don't really think Ms. Patrick is in the league with Shirley Muldowney, Angelle Seeling, or even Ashley & Courtney Force. Of course they're all draggers, and that is a different skill set than driving in circles.

I'm sure Ms. Patrick would drive my :cus: off, but that's not saying much. The only advice I'd offer to any current or coming up female racers is there's a reason you don't see any buff male drivers/riders flouncing around in speedo photo shoots 'n such. They want to be taken seriously. Don't do that :cus:!

Don't give Michael Waltrip any ideas. :roflblack:

If King Richard had his way. Would she be gone? She seems to have gotten under the skin of the Pettys? One word to them. Times are a changing and the Winston Cup days are long gone.

You are so right. Times have changed. Ricard is no longer the King of the Hill, Kyle cannot throw stones either. They were both sheet metal wreckers in their day to. Kyle is probably jealous of her long hair. It's prettier then his mop and Dads too.

The two of them used to come in the shop I worked in between 64 and 66, Smokies Garage and GMC Trucks as a Parts Department counter man. We had the coffee pot and stocked the Racing Department shelves. They would come by and try to find out what " the Bear" was up to in the Race / Engineering Shop which was off limits to most outsiders and some insiders

Yea she wrecks by herself at times but most of her wrecks are collateral damage just like Dale Junior.

Sometimes in Las Vegas, the house wins and you bust.

That was the situation for Stewart-Haas Racing during Sunday's Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

'Danica Patrick led the group'

with a 21st place finish, while Kurt Busch was 26th, Tony Stewart was 33rd and Kevin Harvick finished 41st.

Best of the worst....:dontknow:

Let's face it; finishing "mid-pack" in a NASCAR race, is something that most of us could never even dream of doing...
I give her credit for how far she's come... The question becomes; how far can she go?? :dontknow:

Now, if she only had come in #1. They posted the odds at 250/1. A thousand would have got you a quarter million.

Soooo.....

How many drivers can you name that finish mid pack or worse on a weekly basis? Who is their sponsor? What is their car number? When was the last time you saw them being interviewed on TV? I think she is doing what her sponsors are paying her for. For anyone who still believes that the way you get a ride in NASCAR is by having talent, I feel for you. Sponsors want airtime and name recognition. Danica Patrick gives them both on a regular basis. No I am not a Danica fan, but I understand how the game works. Don't hate the player.... hate the game.
